Paura investigates the relationship between fear, power and physical violence. The firearm is presented not merely as an instrument enabling a violent act, but as an extension of the aggressor himself: a shield that mitigates his vulnerability and allows him to inflict violence from a position of apparent safety. The piece questions how fear can transform into a force that legitimizes or facilitates violence.
Swimming pool

This work, based on David Hockney’s swimming pool paintings, critiques the way society turns real, gruesome scenes into consumable cultural objects. The colors, foreground, and typographic elements contrast sharply with the traumatic event depicted, questioning the normalization of violence and the capacity of aesthetics to transform horror into an object of contemplation.
